QA Award: "Inner Animal Challenge" Winner
My "Peacock" quilt was selected as one of 20 winners in a contest sponsored by "Quilting Arts Magazine:" Look at the June/July 2010 issue to see it in print. I used my hand and fingerprints to create the background for the peacock's feathers.

  2. Our quilt guild just started doing art quilts, so this was a surprise to be accepted in the magazine! Please help me win the sewing machine by voting for the swan quilt above. Spread the word!

  3. I'm an avid quilter, too! I've posted a number of photos of my quilts and quilts in process on my blog, http://sallysburrow.blogspot.com. This quilt is lovely! Art quilts are my favorite form of quilting these days because, after all, just how many bed quilts can you use?

  4. Sally, so true about bed quilts. I like the art quilts because of their size although it doesn't mean they are quick to do. I'll check your blog. As you can see, I'm just getting started.
